Ram Navami is a widely celebrated festival in India, marked by great excitement and passion for honoring Lord Ram's birth. Lord Ram is revered as a perfect ruler and his life serves as a model for family values. Stories of his loving relationships with his family and his deep devotion to his wife, Sita Devi, have captivated devotees for generations. The worship of Lord Ram is deeply ingrained in Indian culture. We all recognize the name Ram as meaning 'bliss', which is precisely what Lord Ram offers to his followers.

The Ram Navami festival in Balasore begins almost a week before the actual event. The streets come alive with processions of Lord Ram, showcasing his grandeur before the festival begins. At Suma Blessings, our volunteers distribute Ramayana copies to promote Lord Ram's virtues during Ram Navami in Odisha. The evening temple programs feature vibrant dances or plays that portray Lord Ramachandra's life and activities. There are also special talks about Lord Rama's life in the evening.
